BISHOP JOHN SHERRINGTON
NAMED ARCHBISHOP OF LIVERPOOL
Bishop John Sherrington has been appointed as the next Archbishop of Liverpool.
Ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Nottingham on 13 June 1987, Bishop Sherrington has been an Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster (and Titular Bishop of Hilta) since 14 September 2011.
Archbishop-elect Sherrington will become the tenth Archbishop of Liverpool, in succession to Archbishop Malcolm McMahon OP, who has been Archbishop since 2014.
His installation will take place in the Metropolitan Cathedral on Tuesday, 27 May at 12 noon.​​​​

If you know someone who is housebound, or who is going into hospital for an operation, and would like to receive anointing, or if you know someone who would like to receive ongoing home Communion visits, please let the Parish Office know so we can arrange a visit. Many thanks.​

We are in need of volunteers to help with the daily and sacramental life of our Churches. Our Churches are only able to continue to function due to the invaluable work of volunteers, who help out in many different ways. UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY
The Ukrainian Rite Mass is held in Saint Sebastian's Church every Saturday evening at 5:30pm.

CHILDREN IN CHURCH
All children, including those who are noisy, are welcome inside our Churches for any of our Masses, just as much as the adults within our community are welcome. A church that doesn't have the sound of children within its walls, is a church that is in decline. We welcome all families, especially those with young and noisy children, with open arms.​​​​​​​​​​​​
