WELCOME TO SAINT OSWALD'S AND SAINT SEBASTIAN'S PARISH WEBSITE
SICK AND COMMUNION VISITS
If you know someone who is housebound, or who is going into hospital for an operation, and would like to receive anointing, or if you know someone who would like to receive ongoing home Communion visits, please let the Parish Office know so we can arrange a visit. Many thanks.

NOVEMBER: MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS
During November, we pray for all who have died, especially those on our Pious List. Please place any names for the Pious List in the envelopes provided; and leave it in the Pious List box, found in front of the altar within our churches. Masses for all who are on the Pious List will be celebrated every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday during November.
CONFIRMATIONS
The Sacrament of Confirmation for those who have already signed up through “Liverpool Called” earlier on this year will take place on Friday 14th November at 18:00 in St. Oswald’s Church. Emails will be sent out to those who have registered this coming week.
MOVEMBER
During November, I will be taking part in “Movember” by growing a moustache. Movember came about to raise awareness of men’s mental health issues, as well as raise money for charity. I will be raising money for “Paul's Place” a specialised counselling service for people who have been bereaved through suicide. If you would like to donate, please use the “Movember envelopes” found at the back of church, and then place into the offertory bags, or by visiting:

VOLUNTEERS
We are in need of volunteers to help with the daily and sacramental life of our Churches. Our Churches are only able to continue to function due to the invaluable work of volunteers, who help out in many different ways. If you can spare some time to help out in any way within either of our communities, please contact the Parish Office.

UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY
The Ukrainian Rite Mass is held in Saint Sebastian's Church every Saturday evening at 5:30pm.
All are welcome. If you would like to offer help or support to the Ukrainian Community,
please contact Fr. Taras on: 07784634136, or email: liverpool@ucc-gb.com

CHILDREN IN CHURCH
All children, including those who are noisy, are welcome inside our Churches for any of our Masses, just as much as the adults within our community are welcome. A church that doesn't have the sound of children within its walls, is a church that is in decline. We welcome all families with open arms, especially those with young and noisy children.
